The Reva was named after Tory's mother, who has long been her muse and good-luck charm… so perhaps it's only fitting that this style became such a hit.
The tunic was one of Tory’s first designs, inspired by a piece found in a Paris flea market, and has been part of every collection since. Tory's own mother and grandmother wore them throughout her childhood, as did her father, who used to pair long tunics with espadrilles.
From the now-iconic orange lacquer doors and Lucite fixtures to the deep-seated sofas, the stores pull inspiration from the designer's home as well as the work of interior decorator David Hicks, a Tory favorite.
